Key Largo to Key West Bike Tour
$1800 per person
Bike ride through the Florida Keys from Key Largo to Key West on the 90-mile flat terrain Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. We’ll break it up over two days allowing plenty of time for breaks, sightseeing, vising a turtle hospital, snorkeling, and kayaking through mangroves. Our luggage will be transported for us from hotel to hotel along the way so we can enjoy the Keys up close and personal at our own pace. There will be a private van service always close by should anybody wish to call it a day and be whisked away to our next hotel for a head start on sipping a cool tropical drink.

April 22/ Day 4: Mangrove Kayak Tour and Walking Tour of Key West
Happy Earth Day! This morning we rise early to do a magical mangrove maze kayak tour (2 hrs. – not included.). On the southeast end of the island of Key West is a protected mangrove forest that is still relatively unspoiled by development where you get up close and personal with how the Keys looked a long, long time ago. In this forest are small river “tunnels” just wide enough to fit a kayak. The natural rivers weave through the tangled roots of mangrove plants (a species that can grow in salt water), creating a unique “maze” that creates a nursery for small wildlife. Afterwards, we’ll explore more of Key West on a walking tour of the highlights, history, culture, and legends before we head to Key West International Airport for our evening flights back home. (B)
