2
Day Two
Entebbe - Kibale Forest National Park. After breakfast, your guide will drive you (5 hrs.) to Kibale National Park. While driving, you will pass by tea plantations along the way. In the afternoon, you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale Forest National Park which are the Chimpanzees. The forest has one of the highest diversity of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and White colobus Monkeys, Blue Monkey and Grey-cheecked Mangabey, Red Tailed Monkey, Bush Babies and Pottos. Afterwards, we will proceed to our accommodation for the night. (B,L,D)

Day Three
Kibale Forest National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Today your guide will drive you (5 hrs.) to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the lodge accommodations. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. You will be encouraged to go to bed earlier this evening, since you should be rested and fit for gorilla trekking tomorrow. (B,L,D)

Day Four
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This morning you will get up early and go for the upcoming gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting and rewarding wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyles of the Gorillas. If there’s ample time afterwards, you may choose to visit the Batwa pygmy community living nearby and learn more about their way of life and how they lived as hunters and gathers in the Bwindi Forest or you can visit the Ride for a woman project in Buhoma, which is charitable organization that exists to support local women struggling at home with issues associated with HIV, domestic violence and poverty. The women learn to pedal sew, weave baskets, dance, sing and drum; learning new skills, thus making a living and making it possible for their children to gain an education. (B,L,D)

Day 5
