French trappers are responsible for naming the three peaks now known as the South, Middle, and Grand Teton. They called the mountains “Les Trois Tetons,” or “The Three Breasts.” The Grand Teton—the tallest of the three—literally means “the big tit.” So now that we have that quirky and fun tidbit out of the way, I just want to say that after a visit to Grand Teton National Park, I am proclaiming it as one of my absolute favorites. These boots are made for walkin' but six days on the Camino de Santiago was more than just a walking vacation "You’re going to walk 75 miles on your trip to Spain, what kind of vacation is that?" That’s just one of the many “concerned” responses I would get before heading out to northern Spain to finally get a chance to do a long-distance walk on perhaps the most popular pilgrim path in the world; The Camino de Santiago.  The Camino de Santiago,

It was amazing, spiritual and at times very challenging. There's something incredibly humbling about hiking on a trail of original Inca stone from 500 years ago. Most people don't know, but along the way to Machu Picchu, there are several Inca ruins to walk around and explore. Some were places of worship and sacrifice,

All the way down in the very southern-most part of South America lays Patagonia, a region shared by Chile and Argentina where the Andes Mountains are the dividing line. On the Chilean side, the premiere national park is Torres del Paine, which is breathtakingly stunning and evokes a feeling of immensity – there are vast sheets of fractured blue ice, turquoise and emerald lakes, primeval-looking forest, vertical granite spires and seemingly limitless cloud-streaked skies. If you love hiking, the classic “W”
